Create articles, blog posts, interviews, dialogue recaps, or photo stories that explore issues discussed by participants and highlight youth perspectives and community action. Follow NextVox’s consent and privacy guidelines when sharing photographs, quotes, or participant stories.
Qualifications: Interest in writing, journalism, storytelling, or photography. Willingness to research topics, check facts, represent different perspectives fairly, and revise work with feedback. Applicants may focus on writing, photography, or both.
Annual Commitment: We ask interns to make at least two contributions each year within their internship path to make a meaningful impact—for example, submitting two blog posts, articles, or photo stories annually.
Dialogue Facilitator/Chapter President
Description: Help create a welcoming, structured space where students can discuss meaningful issues and learn from one another. Prepare discussion questions, guide conversations using the NextVox framework, encourage balanced participation, and uphold dialogue agreements. Chapter Presidents also help establish and organize a NextVox chapter, coordinate meetings, and communicate with members and any required school advisor.
Qualifications: Interest in dialogue, bringing people together, and developing leadership skills. Willingness to practice active listening, remain fair when guiding discussions, and help participants engage respectfully across differences. Facilitators do not need to be experts on discussion topics; they should be prepared to guide the process responsibly.

Share participation opportunities, support recruitment and outreach, answer basic questions, and help new members feel welcome. Gather feedback about barriers to participation and suggest ways to make NextVox more accessible.

Willingness to explain NextVox’s mission accurately, reach beyond existing social circles, and communicate respectfully with potential members and community contacts. An outgoing personality or large social media following is not required.
